Fingers crossed!
With five of my NOLA art works I am a candidate for the BBA artist prize 2021.
The BBA Artist Prize is a competition that takes place once a year and is dedicated to emerging artists. It is not important which education the participants have enjoyed or which medium they work with. A jury of selected art industry professionals then decides which artist has the greatest potential and has most convincingly realized the submitted work or concept.
I applied with NOLA ART because I feel that the concept, in which not only a single work of art, but the artist / the artist together with their own art is evaluated as a whole, is not only contemporary, but also think that this form of art approach fits very well to me and NOLA ART. There is always more behind my works than just what can be seen on the canvas. My art only becomes complete through the feeling triggered in the viewer - that is as much a part of my works as each individual brush stroke.
I applied with my works: Buddha pink/orange - refined, Buddha head colorful 2 - refined, Angel praying 2 - refined, Buddha Mandala 2 - refined as well as Ganesha and am looking forward, regardless of the outcome of the prize, together with many other unique artists/inside to fight for, among other things, their own exhibition in the BBA Gallery. Stay tuned!
